Here, at the Family Center, we are here to serve you. We provide resources and activities for parents and guardians to use at home with their children.
Parents have the right to request information about the degree and qualifications of their child's teacher(s) and paraprofessional(s), if applicable. Please refer to the GCPS Student-Parent Handbook or contact your school's principal for more information.

As part of our school planning for the coming school year 2025-2026, please take some time to help us by reviewing the documentation included on our website and offering your input and suggestions through the Documentation Revision Google Form. Thank you so much for your participation!
The Planning Meeting is the opportunity for parents and community stakeholders to provide input on the LSPI goals for the upcoming year. It is also one opportunity for you to provide input on the Needs Assessment, The Plan… The Promise, and Budget. Please see the attached Power Point Presentation (English and Spanish).
A little more information on The Plan… The Promise:
The Plan – the purpose of the family and community engagement plan is to establish the school’s expectations for parents-family engagement; describe how the school will implement several specific family engagement activities designed to increase student academic achievement.
The Promise – the purpose of the school-family promise (contract) is to serve as an agreement that parents, students and teachers develop together explaining how they will partner to ensure that students meet the state academic standards.
