Readers Rally

Readers Rally Book Club is open to all students in the fourth and fifth grades who love to read.

Between meetings you will be expected to read, read, read! Being a part of this book club requires students to read one book each week outside of the assigned of school reading. Students read selected books from our pre-determined list (book list attached) and answer questions about these books. We can read chapters and parts of the books together at meetings, but you will need to read novels on your own. For each book you read, you will need to write 10 questions. Participation is expected of every member.

This book club aims to raise members as readers, gain an appreciation for good books, and discuss books with peers. An added opportunity to this Book Club comes in February at the Gwinnett County Readers Rally. Readers Rally is a reading quiz bowl-style competition. Each Gwinnett County School may send one team of ten players or less to the Readers Rally Event in February.

The GCPS Readers Rally competition will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
